2017-2018 Head of Participant Services for Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society
Part of the Senior Management Team. Overseeing the Participant Services team who offer advice, support and facilities to all participants, including performers, producers, companies, venues and Arts Industry professionals coming to the Fringe. Managing the strategic development of the services provided to the diverse range of participants. Activating company-wide International Strategy (inc. hosting EFFS info sessions in Buenos Aires, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane), developing a new Domestic Strategy and Business Plan (2019-2022) with public facing Blueprint, Fringe World Congress project lead and representing EFFS in external affairs activity including at consular, council, government level.   Maternity cover post.

2012-2017 Associate Producer for Aurora Nova
Working with Wolfgang Hoffmann on his international booking agency, carrying on the ethos of the much celebrated Edinburgh Fringe venue.  Agent for Nassim Soleimanpour’s acclaimed piece White Rabbit Red Rabbit among others.

2015-2017 Producer for Rick Conte
Fundraising and development for Rick’s new version of HG Wells’ The Time Machine for aged 10+ and their families.  Workingwith classic bunraku puppets and utilising a strong, physical sketch-comedy style.

2016-2017 Producer for Tromolo Productions
Producer for Music is Torture, a jet-black comedy featuring live music and new songs from A Band Called Quinn, which toured to Tron Theatre, Traverse Theatre & Eden Court in May/June ’17.

2014-2017 Artistic Producer for Tron Theatre
Senior/Artistic Producer on attachment to the Tron Theatre working with artists in order to expand the capacity of producing in Scotland.  Artists & companies over the course of the project include: Caroline Bowditch, Stellar Quines & Edinburgh International Book Festival, Marilyn Imrie, Ryan van Winkle, Louise Quinn/Tromolo Productions, Ros Sydney, Rick Conte, Francisca Morton, Morna Young, AJ Taudevin.  Developed Tron Creative programme including Tron Labs. Delivered career development, funding application and pitching to venue workshops for Tron100.  Part of the programming team, developing relationships with companies and agencies including Imaginate and Manipulate.

2015-2017 Producer for Caroline Bowditch & Company
Producer for Caroline’s existing much acclaimed work Falling in Love with Frida and for her new works for under 5s, The Adventures of Snigel and Snigel and Friends.

2016 Producer for Stellar Quines and Edinburgh International Book Festival
Producer for The View from Castle Rock by Alice Munro adapted by Linda McLean and directed by Marilyn Imrie.

2014: Producer for Live Theatre, Newcastle
Edinburgh Fringe hit Captain Amazing, a funny and poignant story of a father turned reluctant superhero.  Toured April/May 2014

2013: Producer for AJ Taudevin‘s Some Other Mother
A poetic and witty story of loss and survival which explores the traumatising impact of the asylum system, regardless fo the outcome. Toured June 2013.  Nominated for the James Tait Black Award.

2010-2013: Producer; Magnetic North Theatre Productions
Pass the Spoon, music theatre written by visual artist David Shrigley & composer David Fennessy Tramway, Glasgow, November 2011, Traverse & Southbank Centre May 2012.
Pamela Carter’s Wild Life Spring 2011 (co-production with Cumbernauld Theatre).
Linda McLean’s Sex & God Autumn 2012 (in association with Platform, Easterhouse).
Silent Movie, Buster Keaton inspired Lego short, Imaginate Fringe 2011,

2013: Paterson’s Land; Operations Manager
Working with Mike Griffiths, starting a new venue powered by Scottish Opera.  Programme included Scottish Opera, National Theatre of Scotland, Tron Theatre Co, Theatre Uncut and a collaboration between Edinburgh University and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

2013: PR & Industry Liaison
For Brokentalkers’ Have I No Mouth, Nassim Soleimanpour’s White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Cristiana Casadio & Stefan Sing’s Tangram and Y2D & Chamaeleon Productions’ LEO during Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Advising companies of future opportunities for developing work. Networking, matchmaking and facilitation for companies involved in the Summerhall Fringe programme.

Developing international touring opportunities & systems for contemporary physical theatre company based in Berlin.  Supported by FST’s Producer Bursary Award.  Promoting award winning Fringe show LEO to press and industry guests Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012.

2010 – 2011: Remarkable Arts; Associate Producer
Programming, marketing, box office set up, media & promoter relations (inc. Social Media) for Fringe venues Hill St Theatre & St George’s West.

In 2010, Remarkable Arts won a Herald ‘Little Devil’ Award for hard work in for ‘defringing’ the venue for ‘David Leddy’s Sub Rosa.’

In 2011, we were delighted to receive the Jack Tinker ‘Spirit of the Fringe’ award chosen by a panel of leading journalists and Fringe figures.

2008- 2010: Edinburgh Festival Fringe; Promoter Liaison Officer
Advising companies of future opportunities for developing work and exploring the market for same. Administrating (inc SAC project reports) the Made in Scotland programme for the Fringe (partnered with SAC and FST). Representing the Festival Fringe Society at international events (NYC, Adelaide & Seoul) to maintain profile and encourage performer and promoter attendance at the festival in 2009.
